Short synopsis: In the Secrets of the Millionaire Mind Book T. Harv Eker argues that financial results start with a “money and success blueprint” formed in the subconscious from childhood and family experience. The book explains how to identify that blueprint and replace it with beliefs that support wealth.
Full description:
T. Harv Eker built this book on his Millionaire Mind Intensive seminar. Its starting point is that how people think and feel about money, more than the work they do, shapes their financial lives. Eker says each person carries a money blueprint absorbed in childhood from parents and other influences, and that this blueprint largely decides whether they build or lose wealth.
The publisher describes the book as two books in one. The first part explains the “inner game”: how the blueprint forms and how it holds people back. Eker asks readers to look back at what they were taught about money growing up, and he contrasts how wealthy and poor people tend to think, for example in whether they focus on opportunities or on obstacles.
The second part turns to practice, including “declarations” meant to replace limiting beliefs with ones that support wealth. The Secrets of the Millionaire mind is aimed at readers interested in the psychology of money rather than investment technique. It was first published in the US in 2005 by Harper Business, and this paperback is 224 pages.
Notable: Eker’s debut book, based on his “Millionaire Mind Intensive” seminar.
